Los Angeles based Tax & Accounting Firm for Sale. ref# LAS124. Total gross revenue included in the sale is $228k which is derived from 84 Individual returns with an average fee of $1,638 and 37 Entities with an average fee of $3,178. Approximately 50% of clients go on extension every year and the other 50% complete their returns by 4/15. The office is currently home-based in Los Angeles only a few miles from Beverly Hills. Approximately 5%-10% of clients will drop off their tax documents, while 20% mail and the remaining 70% remit electronically. The Buyer would need to retain an address in Los Angeles, whether it be a Regus suite or a PO Box, for best client retention purposes. There are no employees in this firm and the Sellers do not want to continue preparing tax returns for these clients after the transition. Firm uses Lacerte, QuickBooks, ShareFile & CFS. The Sellers would ideally like to sell before tax season and can be available to assist the Buyer with the transition of clients during that time, pay rate to be negotiated.
